First Combi II system in PEI
May 30, 2016
Congratulations John & Kim Dennis from Port Hill Farm for their new layer barn featuring a Farmer Automatic COMBI II housing system!
Although the weather was a bit chilly and gray, Mother Nature simply couldn’t stop producers, family and friends from attending and celebrating the first ever Atlantic Canada Farmer Automatic COMBI II layer system of John and Kim Dennis of Tyne Valley, Prince Edward Island. It was simply a great day with egg producers and farmers from outside industries coming as far as Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to view the system and ask questions with attending Clark Ag System representatives and Mr. & Mrs. Dennis. There was enough coffee to keep everyone warm and energized throughout the day as over 130 people were in attendance for the event. All in all it was a wonderful day and we would like to congratulate John and Kim on their new layer barn, as well as thank all involved in helping the open house be a resounding success.
The Farmer Automatic COMBI II is the innovative aviary or colony housing system for layers. It easily converts from enriched to cage-free with no additional equipment required and is designed to meet changing regulations.
