AZ Driver/Labourer

Clark Ag Systems, a family owned business based out of Caledonia Ontario, supplies a complete line of high quality equipment for poultry and egg production to farmers across Canada. The professional and skilled staff at Clark constantly strive to achieve the highest standard for sales, installation and service. We are looking for enthusiastic workers to join our growing team. We are currently recruiting an AZ Driver/Labourer.

Job Details:

• Transporting materials from head office to various farms
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods, kilometres spent driving and retain fuel receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
• Operating boom crane to remove cargo from back of flatbed
• Operating various farm equipment (Tractors, Forklift, telehandlers) to load unload straw onto flatbed
• Operate tractor for loading/strapping down straw bales on truck and trailer
• Operate barn controls when chopping (fans for ventilation) lighting & heating controls
• Follow biosecurity protocols

Due to biosecurity reasons, you cannot be considered for this position if you reside in a residence with backyard flocks, exotic birds or poultry barns.
