Cracking Open Knowledge at AG Day [Hagersville 150]

On Friday June 6th, Clark Ag Systems joined forces with Floradale Feed at the Hagersville 150 celebration to help educate curious minds about the egg and poultry industry. Representing Clark were Chelsea and Harold, alongside Hugh from Floradale—together creating a fun, interactive display that brought the barn to the heart of town.

Our setup featured live birds ranging from day-old chicks to 36-day-old hens, offering visitors a unique look at the rapid growth and development of poultry. For many kids, it was their first time seeing live chicks—and the excitement grew even more when two of our hens decided to lay eggs right on-site! It was a perfect, real-time example of the farm-to-egg journey.
The event drew in everyone from farming families and future farmers to curious kids and industry partners. We were thrilled to answer questions, share insights, and bust a few poultry myths along the way.

Hats off to the Town of Hagersville for putting on such a well-organized, community-focused event. From the smooth logistics to the friendly atmosphere, everything ran beautifully. The live music set the tone, the tractor displays and animal exhibits were a hit with all ages, and the energy throughout the day made it a celebration to remember.
